The park is open every day of the year, sunrise to sunset. Day use areas close at dusk.

The park office, the mansion, and the education center are open specific hours. Contact the park office (info above) for facility seasons and hours.

Preparing to Attend Events

Advance registration for upcoming events can be done online.

If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact us. With one week notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for educational programs.

In the case of poor road conditions, programs may be canceled, or locations may change. Check our Facebook page for updates prior to arrival.

The Kings Gap Environmental Education Center plans programming year-round for all ages! Indoor and outdoor activities encourage exploration, learning, and fellowship. A special meal in the Cameron-Masland mansion! Beautiful cocktails on the terrace start the evening, followed by a full-course meal including locally sourced meats, produce, wines, and beers. A silent auction complements the dining portion of this fundraiser.
